The Library

This room, with the only functioning fireplace in the house, is the place where we spend most of our time in the colder months.

 

The books are a combination of books acquired with the purchase of the house as well as our personal collections - the oldest dates back to 1781. A number are signed by their authors, including by authors who may be in attendance today! The painting of the Redwood was a gift from Matthew to Shawn on the occasion of his 40th birthday.
