The Music Room

While there are not currently any musical instruments in this room, it once housed a beautiful piano that was donated by Janet Netherland-Brown to Carson Newman University.

The most stunning feature of this room is the chandelier medallion and hand-plastered molding.

The teacups in the hutch are the combined collection of Shawn’s mother, Joann Kinzer, and her mother, Helen Grayson.

The blue and red striped sofa is also original to the house - built in Philadelphia and delivered via a mule cart in the 1850s
